Membership Terms and Conditions
Chapter 1: General Provisions
Article 1 (General Provisions)
These Membership Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) shall apply when members, as defined in Article 4 (hereinafter referred to as “Members”), use “STUDIO TOU” (hereinafter referred to as “the Studio”).
Article 2 (Purpose)
The purpose of the Studio is to promote a healthy lifestyle through private membership programs themed around “Pilates,” “Yoga,” “Acupuncture Treatment,” and “Cosmetic Acupuncture.” The Studio aims to enhance members’ health, improve physical strength, foster friendship among members, and contribute to creating a vibrant community within the local society.
Chapter 2: Membership
Article 3 (Members)
A Member shall mean any person who agrees to these Terms and whose application for membership has been approved by the Studio after completing the prescribed procedures set forth in Article 8. However, persons falling under any of the following categories shall not be permitted to join:

Members or associates of organized crime groups or other similar entities (collectively referred to as “antisocial forces”), or persons related to such forces.

Persons likely to disrupt the order of the Studio or cause inconvenience to other Members.

Persons suffering from contagious diseases that may spread to others.

Persons whom the Studio deems inappropriate as Members.
Article 4 (Compliance)
Members shall comply with these Terms, the fee schedule, and other detailed rules or notices separately stipulated by the Studio (hereinafter referred to as “Detailed Rules”).
Article 5 (Membership Categories)
Membership categories, fees, and other details shall be as specified in the fee schedule and governed by the Detailed Rules. However, the Studio may change such categories or fees as necessary.
Article 6 (Prohibition of Transfer)
Members shall not transfer, assign, or use as collateral any of their membership rights to any third party.
Article 7 (Membership Procedure)
Applicants wishing to join the Studio shall pay the registration fee and two months of membership fees (according to the selected category) via credit card, bank transfer, or at the Studio counter, and shall submit the prescribed application form.
Article 8 (Payment of Membership Fees)

Members shall pay monthly membership fees by automatic bank transfer, registering their designated account via the prescribed form.

The Studio shall collect the following month’s membership fee on the 27th of each month. If the 27th falls on a bank holiday, the payment will be processed on the next business day.
Article 9 (Refunds)
The Studio shall not refund any paid registration fees or membership fees for any reason whatsoever.
Article 10 (Membership Card)

The Studio shall issue a membership card to each Member.

The card is for the Member’s personal use only and cannot be lent or transferred.

Members must present their card upon each use of the Studio.

In case of loss, Members shall immediately report it to the Studio, pay a reissue fee as separately determined, and request reissuance.
Article 11 (Notifications)

Members wishing to withdraw must submit the prescribed “Withdrawal Form” directly at the Studio by the 10th of the month, with the withdrawal effective at the end of that month.

Members shall promptly notify the Studio of any changes to personal information such as email address, address, name, or phone number.

Members wishing to change their registered bank account shall notify the Studio by the 10th of the month prior to the month of change.

Members wishing to take a leave of absence shall submit the prescribed “Leave of Absence Form” to the Studio by the 10th of the month prior to the desired month. Handling of membership during suspension shall be as stipulated in the Detailed Rules.
Article 12 (Suspension or Revocation of Membership)
The Studio may suspend or revoke a Member’s membership without prior notice or demand if the Member falls under any of the following:

Failure to pay membership fees or other dues.

Acts that damage the reputation or credibility of the Studio.

Disruption of Studio order.
-
False statements in the membership application.
-
Violation of these Terms or Detailed Rules.

Intentional damage to Studio facilities or equipment.
-
Any other reason the Studio deems the Member inappropriate.
Article 13 (Code of Conduct)
Members agree to and shall observe the following:

Act in harmony with other Members.

Refrain from commercial, political, or religious activities within the Studio without permission.

Refrain from taking photos for business purposes without permission.
-
Avoid conduct that disturbs other Members.
Chapter 3: Use of the Studio
Article 14 (Services)

Members may use Studio facilities and participate in programs offered by the Studio (hereinafter referred to as “Programs”). Details of facility usage and participation shall be as specified in the Detailed Rules.

The Studio may change the contents of the facilities or Programs as necessary.
Article 15 (Operating Hours)
The Studio’s operating hours shall, in principle, follow the Program schedule. However, the Studio may adjust the hours for maintenance or seasonal reasons.
Article 16 (Companions)
Members may not bring non-Members or pets (hereinafter “Companions”) into the Studio without prior approval. If permission is granted, the Member shall ensure the Companion complies with these Terms and shall be liable for any damages caused by the Companion.
Article 17 (Damage)
Members shall immediately report and fully compensate for any damage or loss to Studio facilities, equipment, or furnishings caused by their own fault.
Chapter 4: Miscellaneous
Article 18 (Closure or Change of the Studio)

The Studio may close or restrict use of its facilities in whole or in part due to natural disasters, changes in laws, government orders, social or economic conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances.

In such cases, the Studio may terminate all memberships without compensation.

Members shall not object to the above decisions.
Article 19 (Disclaimer)

The Studio shall not be liable for any injury, accident, theft, or loss occurring within the Studio or during participation in a Program, except in cases of gross negligence by the Studio.

Members shall resolve any disputes with other Members or third parties at their own responsibility and expense and shall not cause any damage to the Studio.
Article 20 (Handling of Personal Information)

The Studio shall handle Members’ personal information appropriately.

The Studio shall use such information for the following purposes:
(1) Provision of services and administrative procedures.
(2) Marketing and information about services, events, and new products.
(3) Market research, product development, and related surveys.
(4) Event planning, operation, and management.
(5) Emergency contact and related matters.
(6) Other uses within the scope of the Member’s consent. -
The Studio may share personal information with subcontractors to the extent necessary for achieving the above purposes, ensuring equivalent obligations of confidentiality and security.

Except as provided above or required by law, the Studio shall not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without consent.

The Studio shall take appropriate security measures, including staff education and strict management of media containing personal data.
Article 21 (Representation and Warranty)

The Studio represents and warrants that it has no connection, present or future, with any antisocial forces.

If a Member is found to be associated with antisocial forces or engages in violent, threatening, or obstructive behavior, the Studio may immediately revoke membership without notice.

Members whose membership is revoked under the preceding clause shall be liable for any damages incurred by the Studio.
Article 22 (Amendments)

The Studio may revise these Terms without obtaining Members’ consent.

Revised Terms shall become effective upon posting at the location designated by the Studio.

Members shall not object to or claim any rights regarding such revisions.
Article 23 (Jurisdiction)
In the event of litigation between the Studio and a Member, the exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the District Court or Summary Court having jurisdiction over the Studio’s location.
Article 24 (Governing Law)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
